I have years of experience working with children of all ages in different settings, a background in special education, and extensive knowledge of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior plans. I believe in differentiating the type of therapeutic method to meet the needs of the client. Additionally, I look at the family system as a whole, understanding how each individual in the system can affect the family unit, and, when needed, I provide care from a trauma-informed perspective.
I have experience with behavioral health, as well as with mental health disorders, such as anxiety and depression. I also understand that the most effective way to support any behavioral or mental health challenge is to collaboratively develop a treatment plan that focuses on improving your overall wellbeing.
