I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker experienced working with children, teens and adults. I have spent more than 20 years servicing patients who suffer from a myriad of symptoms including but not limited to sexual abuse and violent trauma, depression, anxiety, mild to moderate substance abuse, long term grief from loss, and emotional distress. My experiences include patients of various cultural backgrounds and demographics.
I use a client-centered approach, which includes collaboratively working with my client to expand their understanding of their treatment needs. Using mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and focusing on the client's strengths, we will build a treatment plan to meet the client's needs and goals.
I provide a relaxed environment where patients are welcome to be themselves in every sense of the word. Communication is open and honest, and without judgment. I want to build a strong rapport with clients in order for them to be comfortable in their most vulnerable moments of treatment. I am open, supportive, and understanding.
