I understand that many people come to therapy not knowing what to expect or feeling anxious and apprehensive and I'm here to help you figure that out. My ideal clients are those who want to make positive changes in their lives but find themselves discouraged or falling back in the same patterns time and time again. I believe that there is an infinite number of ways lasting positive changes can be achieved in therapy. Set backs and pitfalls happen along anyone's journey to wellness and those do not have to be the end! With an open mind and a little creativity, we can create clear, reachable mental health goals together.
My background in music therapy gives me a unique perspective on mental health and what is achievable in therapy, approaching mental health physically, mentally, and neurologically at the same time. As a music therapist I believe in the wide ranging benefits the creative arts can have for one's well being.
