I have a passion for working with survivors of trauma and loss focusing on healing the mind and the body. I believe that everyone should have a safe place and a safe, relatable person with whom to share their story. I am a firm believer that healing is not one sided nor should be done alone.
I have worked as a mental health trauma-informed therapist with children, adolescents, and adults for over 17 years, also working with anxiety, depression, and other life struggles. I will help you focus on your strengths and be empowered by a survivor mentality. I use a variety of therapeutic techniques to meet your needs.
I focus on healing the mind with Cognitive Behavior Therapy and healing the body with Somatic Psychotherapy. I also rely on mindfulness strategies and a solution-focused approach to my work in order to help you find solutions and to stay grounded in the present, even in the midst of challenging emotions.
