Today, life starts early tearing down our children and adolescents. With my background in Child and Adolescent counseling I have found my purpose in help children to learn the necessary skills, gain insight, and give the encouragement needed to grow in this ever changing fast paced thing we call life. Some need a voice while others need an ear to hear their problems and find solutions they can use throughout their lives. I hope to work alongside parents and the child to find the best solutions for whatever is going on in lives of the individuals I hope to serve.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and Supervisor also a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am privileged to work alongside people who are dealing with a variety of issues. I have over 25 years experience in counseling and therapy practices. I enjoy working with different types of counseling needs including depression, anxiety, family therapy and abuse survivors. Ms. Harper is a seasoned mental health professional with over 20 years of experience. She has worked in multiple specialty treatment settings including outpatient therapy, addiction treatment, and psychiatric and hospital-based settings. She has worked with various populations including adults, young adults, geriatrics, those with developmental disabilities, juvenile justice groups, and veteran populations. She treats various diagnoses including trauma, victims of violence and abuse, depression, anxiety, bipolar spectrum disorders, individuals in recovery, and clients facing change of life issues.

I work with individuals, couples, families, and mental health. I have considerable experience in helping people work through relationship issues. I am certified as a Prepare and Enrich facilitator for engaged and married couples, parents and blended families as well as SYMBIS certified for premarital. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor by the State of MS, a National Board Certified Counselor, a National Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor, as well as a Board-certified Telemental Health provider. I have worked with those struggling with anxiety, depression, marital and family concerns, age issues, and career decisions.

Gwendolyn M. Sanders is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 26 years of experience in the mental health and health-related field. She is experienced in working with adults, families, couples, and veterans to address their unique challenges and live more fulfilled lives. Gwendolyn specializes in relationship issues, depression, anxiety, grief, end-of-life care, couples counseling, and major life transitions. She continues to work with veterans in a variety of settings and understands their specific issues that impact their need for care. Gwendolyn completed her Master of Social Work (MSW) from Southern University at New Orleans.
