I am passionate about working with adolescents, young adults, and those 25-64 years old as it relates to their mental health needs rather it be anxiety, trauma, family issues, or depression. My goal is to help individuals use their person strengths to address their mental health concerns.

I have a passion for providing support and treatment to individuals seeking help with managing and improving their mental health. I have more than 16 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in various mental health settings. I have helped many clients work through the many aspects of mental health to include depression, anxiety, crisis situations and trauma. In my work with these different populations.

Dr. Johnson's focus is on finding specialized skills that fit each client's unique needs and experiences without bias towards identity, belief, or diagnosis. From enhancing your ability to effectively tackle life's stressors to dealing with serious mental health issues, he aims to provide evidence-based support for all who seek it. Informed by a cognitive behavioral therapeutic approach, Dr. Johnson implements advanced training in neuropsychological assessment and trauma-informed approaches to PTSD, anxiety, depression, and addiction to provide evidence-based, culturally-informed solutions to patients with a variety of needs.

Jennifer Green is Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in the State of Mississippi. She has over 20 years of experience working with children and adults with a variety of disabilities and in a variety of settings. She is a former special education teacher. She is a graduate of Jackson State University, Mississippi College, and Ball State University. Her education motto is: ”All children can learn just not on the same day or in the same way.” Services provided includes assessments, treatment plans, social skills group training, and parent training.

I also received my Master of Science in Marriage and Family Counseling from Mississippi College. Currently trained in EMDR and TF-CBT which is the golden standard for trauma therapy. I strive to help people achieve their full potential and purpose in life. I believe every person has unique value and I desire to help each client meet their maximum potential. Dr. Barnes is a native Mississippian, earning his B.A. in Psychology from Delta State University in Cleveland, MS, and his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Jackson State University in Jackson, MS. He has worked in academic, private, community, school, and state psychiatric settings as well as VA medical centers. Dr. Barnes completed his internship at the VA North Texas Health Care System followed by a fellowship at the G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center, specializing in addictive disorders.
