As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, I have been trained in trauma-focused CBT with specialties in PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, and Interpersonal Relationships, parent-child conflict, school behavior issues, emotional regulations, work related issues. I have a master's degree (Clinical Mental Health Counseling) from Howard University.
Therapy can be hard and emotionally draining work, it can feel as though things are getting worse before they get better.
