I imagine if you're here, it's because you're hurting. Things aren't going the way you want them to: Maybe your marriage or relationship isn't bringing you the joy it used to, or maybe it's driving you downright nuts. Maybe you aren't speaking to your kids, or maybe you are the kid or teen that just can't seem to get along with your parents or the people around you. Maybe things have gotten so bad that you've contemplated hurting yourself or suicide. Perhaps you're grieving a loss, a person, a job, a relationship. Or maybe you've tried to figure out why you're not as happy as you could be and you just can't.
My goal is to help you figure out what's really going on to help you get unstuck using cognitive, dialectical, mindfulness, and trauma-informed therapies. I am a sister, immigrant, wife, mom, and former teacher and school counselor who has worked with hundreds of people over the last decade to help them live more satisfying, joy-filled lives.
I know it can be hard to seek therapy; I struggled to do it even when I knew I needed help and therapy changed my life in countless, unimaginable ways. My goal is for clients to leave sessions feeling a little lighter, understanding hidden parts of themselves to change behaviors that aren't working anymore.
