Hello! I’m Felicia. I’ve been working with children and their families for more than 8 years. In addition, I do work with young adults who appreciate the fun personality that comes with having a therapist who is primarily used to working with children. I promise you won’t have to play with the toys, but you may decide you want to! I’m passionate about helping people live their best lives and families have the system that works for them. My therapy practice is focused on helping people cope with anxiety, depression, anger, substance use, and difficult life transitions. I aim to guide people towards building a deeper understanding of themselves and to apply healthy habits and life skills that will create lasting change.

Mental and emotional health struggles make us feel as though we are lost at sea, with no reference point or “lighthouse,” if you will, to guide us back to shore – but, that’s where I come in!

As a Licensed marriage and family therapist I consider it an honor to journey with my clients as they establish goals, discover healing in a safe environment and gain greater control of their life. My core passion is providing discovery towards wholeness for people who have experienced trauma/stressor keeping them from living their best life. I have 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families. I am a Certified Trauma and Crisis Specialist, EMDR Practitioner and holds expertise in treating Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

My desire is to offer a sacred space for all to engage in relationship—an invitation to freely explore wonder, doubt, connection, shame, growth, etc. My hope is to walk steadily alongside those I have the gift of serving while allowing space for the messiness of being human. My approach is relational and compassionate as I always want everyone to feel welcome just as they are.

Zeke’s work is rooted in helping people learn healthier ways to navigate life’s ups and downs, reconstruct a healthier personal narrative and build stronger connection with themselves and the world around them. He is particularly experienced working with men who struggle with issues related to sex and gender – including the impacts of addictive or compulsive behaviors and the impacts of those on self and relationships.

My mission is to support and help people who are hurting, going through something that is overwhelming them, or have experienced a loss or trauma in their life that they need to work through. My ideal client is someone who knows that they want to change their situation for the better but doesn't know where to start. They are ready to change the things in their life that are causing them pain and ready to accept those things that are beyond their power.

I have worked for three decades with individuals seeking to overcome a wide variety of issues related to addiction, depression, anxiety, establishing a sense of identity and purpose that feels good to them, forming healthy habits, achieving intimacy and maintaining relationships, attaining life goals, and overcoming many forms of trauma. I have worked with adolescents, adults, families, couples, combat veterans, professional athletes, medical professionals, as well as adolescents and adults with diverse ethnic, indigenous, sexual, gender, and cultural identities. It is such an honor to assist in the discovery of personal truths.

I work primarily with individuals and couples. I specialize in helping people who struggle with chronic illness, injury, and pain, including traumatic brain injuries. I also work with people who suffer from depression and anxiety. My practice is grounded in attachment theory and we use deep insight based listening to help you closer to living the life you are striving to lead.

I am licensed in 7 states. Pennsylvania, Maryland, Kentucky, Alabama, Montana Idaho and Washington. I work well with culturally diverse populations, I have worked with neuro divergent clients from ages 4 to adult, OCD, anxiety issues, PTSD, behavioral issues, autism, Tourettes, BFRB, hoarding, parenting issues, attachment , reunification, coparenting, and complex comorbidities

Aspiring to be curious and supportive as you identify & explore uncomfortable feelings, discordant self-beliefs, or painful relational dynamics that are keeping you from having more meaningful, enlivened, and loving connections to yourself and others. Navigating together, we will address areas, that may include love, family dynamics, internal conflict, issues of health, work, friendship, school, trauma, addiction, & loss. With couples' areas of exploration sex/intimacy, premarital counselling, financial issues, betrayal & fertility.

I am focusing at this time on with elementary school children and their families. I work a great deal with foster and adoptive families and those who are struggles with systems and economics that make parenting particularly difficult. If your child is frustrated and struggles with staying calm and focusing on what they need to do, if you seem to constantly get phone calls from school and child care regarding you child's behavior, or your placement is struggling with settling into you home please give me a call. I accept medicaid, HMK, HMK+ and most insurance.

Do you feel stuck in communicating with your partner, having the same arguments over and over; you can't seem to work through things? I can help you identify that negative pattern, and learn to step out of it and rediscover love and happiness. I do that with couples by looking at the ways that they get stuck or disconnected. Maybe you are also struggling with feeling the need for more comfort or understanding or needing to regain lost trust. What you and I will do is look at what prevents those things from happening right now in your relationship.

I enjoy working with a diverse client population including those seeking health and behavior change, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, bipolar disorders, persistent life stressors, family discord, and adjustment issues related to chronic illness. In my experience, counseling requires attention to all areas of our lives, and the basis of successful counseling is a trusting and collaborative relationship with an objective therapist.

Life is a complex journey that can feel overwhelmingly hard to navigate at times. We all show up with our own profound life experiences and when obstacles emerge that seem insurmountable, we need support and guidance for growth, deep personal healing, and connection. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and genuinely value the importance of offering a safe environment to hold space where meaningful change and growth can occur. Therapy is a collaborative process and I recognize the importance of flexibility and adaptability.

Being a father/parent, husband, brother, son, and friend are the relationships I am most proud of and invested in my life. I have a highly sensitive and intuitive nature. I embrace the masculine and the feminine in my life and work. I value my open, empathic heart, and sense of humor. I am passionate about spending time in wild places. I build authentic therapeutic relationships with clients and use collaborative healing modalities, empowerment, and self-determination to help clients reach life and behavioral changes. I meet clients where they are as equal and imperfect human beings.
