Hola! I am Monserrat Pulido, a Latina licensed clinical social worker at New Insights Behavioral Health Services. I am a skilled and bilingual therapist who has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I recognize the stigma that can sometimes be associated with mental health services, especially within the Latinx community. What many don't know is that taking care of your mental health is as important as taking care of your physical health. It's okay to not be okay but it's also okay to ask for help. My clients have responded to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychotherapy, and client-centered therapy. I utilize a strength-based approach with a trauma glance to help my clients share, process, and reflect on their past/current stressors.
