My counseling approach draws primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), solution-focused, and person-centered approaches.
I view the client as the expert on themselves and provide a safe space for the client to understand their personal strengths and barriers. I believe it's important to meet the client where they are during sessions to determine the best coping skills to add to their mental toolkit.
