People come to therapy to resolve the pain and suffering that confront them. Psychotherapy provides the necessary container to examine, observe, explore, and create meaning for the experiences we have lived through. As a psychodynamic therapist, I help clients explore the root causes of their suffering, uncover unconscious patterns formed during early life, and help them understand how such patterns continue to impact them in their present day lives. Such unearthing of patterns can create ample opportunities for growth and deep transformation. My approach to therapy is warm, curious, compassionate, creative, and practical.
I received my doctorate from The Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA, and I'm currently a postdoc at Lotus Counseling. I have extensive experience with depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, trauma, complex trauma, personality disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), grief/loss, and identity issues.
My areas of specialization include trauma and anxiety, interpersonal relationships, family of origin patterns, grief, neurodivergence, and spiritual and existential issues.
