I am here to provide a safe space and empathetic support for you, your child or your teen. Preteens and adolescents are wildly resilient and with nurturing empowerment and trust, they will thrive. You or your child may be struggling with worries, fear, and deep sadness. You, as a parent, want them to feel calm in their mind and body and for them to stop being so hard on themselves. Preteens and teens with these difficulties can also be battling panic attacks, bouts of anger and anxiety, and lack of will to even get out of bed in the morning.
I specialize in working with trauma and play therapy with adolescents and children. I utilize an integrated approach of evidence-based practices like TF-CBT, Play Therapy, SFBT, motivational interviewing and many other modalities best suited to help clients individualize their treatment and reach their goals.
I believe in creating a strong therapeutic alliance, especially when working with children and adolescents. I believe that while we all must go through the different stages of development, we can find solace in our feelings of uncertainty through support and gaining fulfillment in their lives.
