Shame and love are grounded in vulnerability and tenderness (Brene Brown, 2012). Every person deserves validation, empathy, and compassion free from judgment. I focus on exploring all unique aspects of a person's identity and I will ensure that our work is personalized to help you reach your therapeutic goals. I am an AASECT-Certified Sex Therapist and I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, eating disorders, mood disorders, relationship problems, and more.
I use an empowerment-focused approach with validation, compassion, and humor to help my client(s) identify their needs, challenges, and goals in the therapeutic space. I access a number of different modalities including CBT, DBT, ACT, and Narrative Therapy, but most importantly I focus on collaboration and building an affirming client-therapist relationship.
To schedule an initial consultation, please call Evans Counseling Group and ask for me at (720) 306 1383. I am currently accepting all new clients. It can be a challenge on its own to pick up the phone and seek out help; know that your vulnerability and willingness to try are enough.
