Now offering an Art Therapy for Anxiety Group: Do you ever feel like you are struggling alone in your anxiety? Attend a helpful, inspired group atmosphere and learn ways to use your creativity to express your feelings and let go of anxiety. You do not need to be an artist to engage in art therapy. Everyone has creativity in them, it is just a matter of unlocking it! Art therapy is a way to calm the nervous system and bring more creativity to your life. Group therapy is a way to relate to others struggling with the same issues that you are. It is my hope you will find healing and peace while in this group.
I am the group leader and have over 15 years of therapy and look forward to cheering you on! Some examples of art prompts will be: draw what anxiety feels like in your body, now draw how you would like your body to feel. Create a calming collage. All materials will be supplied. Group starts October 9th, 2023 and will be held on Mondays 6:30pm-8:00pm.
Cost is $50 per session. Receive a 10% discount by purchasing a package of 6 group sessions ($270). Maximum number of people group will be 10 and this will be an open group and ongoing. The group is for adults (18 and up), for all genders and is LGBTQA+ friendly. I also see adults and teens individually and look forward to meeting you!
