I enjoy working with adolescents and adults with anxiety, depression, and substance abuse disorders. Feeling anxious or sad can be scary and lead to feelings of confusion, loneliness, fear, and shame. I can help you develop and implement healthy coping skills and boundaries which will allow you to feel more in control of your life. It is important to recognize that a patient’s family may also need support and assistance throughout this process. With my guidance, the family will develop an understanding of the patient’s symptoms and gain skills that will lead to healthy boundaries and support for the patient.
I have more than 15 years-experience treating co-occurring disorders. Throughout my career, I have provided individual, couples, and group counseling. I incorporate cognitive-behavioral therapy as well as solution-focused therapy to aid my patients in both the development and application of coping skills.
