There are endless opportunities to improve life when you've got the right support and skills. I currently work with young adults, people in college or graduate school, and adults. Some people I work with identify as more emotional than others, emotionally "sensitive" or intense, feel different in some way, or struggle with feeling out of control of your emotions or your life. Others I work with are looking for someone to run thoughts by to get validation or advice, or have a diagnosis affecting daily functioning and relationships. My training is in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) which focuses on mindfulness and life skills. I also draw on Attachment Theory which focuses on the ways personal growth and healing can occur via our connection with others. Kindness, respect, willingness to try, and radical genuineness are also things I will bring to our work.
