I am certified in EMDR and use this modality most often. I also have extensive experience working with LGBTQIA+ clients, specifically those in the trans community. I am both kink positive and body positive in my practice with clients. I specialize in trauma therapy, emotion dysregulation and issues associated with difficult life transitions. Hi there! At the the core of great therapy is the therapeutic relationship between the client and their therapist. I believe very strongly in the positive changes that can occur as a result of therapy. We all have various emotional needs that can be addressed and benefit from the therapeutic process. I am passionate about serving children, adolescents, adults and families. By partnering with my clients, I see tremendous growth towards their goals and improvement in general well being. When working with children and teens, I take a systems approach and work closely with caregivers to provide the most comprehensive care possible.

I help those who are experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, stress, overwhelm or are feeling like their life is out-of-control. I specialize in trauma, which is any distressing or disturbing event that overwhelms your ability to cope, causes feelings of helplessness, diminishes your sense of self and/or your ability to feel the full range of emotions and experiences. I frequently work with first responders and others who have high stress jobs and who experience trauma in their everyday life.

Therapy is a process that is often sought out during times of change, stress or transition. It can take courage to reach out to others. Thus, I feel it important to have a level of trust and comfort with your therapist. I greatly enjoy providing direction and insight to the clients I serve. I view my role as one that facilitates further introspection and growth. Every life event, those that are joyful, painful, or somewhere in between, can serve to shape us as an individual as we make choices for how we are going to respond.

As humans, we are each created for connection, and when personal connections are broken it can cause problems in our lives. I strive to create a space to allow emotional exploration and vulnerability without judgment or criticism. We each have the capacity to experience joy through our own acceptance and love for self and others and when we experience acceptance and love from another we can find that joy. I desire to walk alongside each person as they explore their own unique journey. I also have a Masters Level Intern that can see client for as low as $30 per session.

It’s hard to get out of bed each morning. There was a time when you were hopeful about life, but that seems like long ago. That was before all your troubles started.
