I desire to walk alongside individuals who are seeking to find healing through directing them to the ultimate Healer, Christ. Through my experience working with many individuals, I have found a deep passion for working with adolescents and young adult females, although I work most ages. I find great joy in being able to help individuals journey through their hardships and find growth and healing on the other side with Christ as their focus. I am passionate about helping clients work through seasons of anxiety and depression because I know how hard those seasons can be and how great healing is when it comes.

Do you find yourself feeling lost or confused about who you are? Maybe you're struggling to thrive or even to cope as the world changes around you. Identity struggles, grief, relational challenges, traumatic experiences, health changes, spiritual crises, and other naturally occurring stressors are all potential sources of anxiety that can alter the way we think and feel about ourselves and others in our present moment and moving forward. As a trauma-informed practitioner, I approach each relationship with a person-centered focus, operating holistically through the lens of trauma-informed care, recognizing you as a unique individual.

Sometimes the difficulties we face in life are not caused by our actions yet we still have to find a way to cope and move on. This is one truth I have worked on with almost every client over the past eight years as a therapist. Sometimes life isn’t fair. No one asked to be depressed, to feel anxious, to struggle with compulsive behaviors or to have continued issues related to a trauma and they have to find a way to go on. Therapy isn’t easy, while it has it’s lighter moments, it isn’t always fun. Some of the strongest, most amazing people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting in my life, have been clients.

I am one of the most open-minded, non-judgmental people you will ever work with. I have worked with a wide range of clients from adults in custody with substance use disorders to vulnerable populations with serious mental illness. For many, maybe you too, life problems can be directly linked to trauma from your past. I am curious about you, your life, and what brought you to therapy. More importantly, I know how to help you. I have studied Polyvagal Theory and Positive Psychology and have a wealth of tools, scientifically proven to work, that I can teach you. These tools will completely change your life!

I have 16 years of clinical experience in treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, anger, relationship issues, and most mental health disorders. Wellness is possible for everyone no matter what they have had to walk through. Coping is possible, but healing is essential to move beyond the places we become stuck.

Have you confided in friends asking for relationship advice, only to hear, “just hang in there, it’ll get better”? Do you find yourself hoping tomorrow will be different, believing your partner will change, clinging to those rare moments of kindness? Have you found yourself crying, feeling invisible and voiceless, using temporary distractions to numb your pain? Do you always put others' needs before your own trying to feel connected only to end up in that dark place again, feeling alone and stuck? If you want to break free from this cycle, reclaim your authenticity and connect more deeply with others, I would love to work with you.
