After retiring as Director of Counseling at Lindenwood University, I moved to Warren County; I live in Wright City and now practice videotherapy from my home office. I have been an LPC in Missouri since 1987, and the author of two books. I very much enjoy working with clients; I have a professional, energetic, friendly style. As a systems therapist, I approach clients in an interdependent manner... never in isolation. Even when working with individual clients, I am mindful of how their myriad relationships affect them...and how they affect others. I think of all clients psycho-biologically. IFS and ketamine are new interests.

I enjoy working with adults and adolescents who are experiencing life transitions or challenging seasons in their lives including depression, anxiety/stress, trauma, relationship issues, grief/loss, LGBTQ+ issues, and gender identity concerns. I incorporate evidence based treatments including CBT and EMDR.

Change is hard for everyone. When we are stuck in patterns of behavior, sometimes it can be hard to decide how to take steps to break those patterns. I believe that taking even one small step can make a big impact on our thoughts and feelings. My goal is to help clients take action to break patterns of behavior that are no longer beneficial. I want to help clients identify small sustainable strategies that can help develop and maintain positive changes.

My practice at Reclaim is dedicated to women suffering the damaging impact of relational abuse, betrayal trauma, or sexual coercion. This trauma can occur as a result of a partners' addiction to pornography, substances, or other compulsive behaviors. Covert emotional abuse is a 'hidden epidemic' today that often goes unnoticed or disregarded by family, friends, church, and counselors. We also work with women who have PTSD due to family-of-origin/attachment issues or other traumatic life events. We offer safe connection and a pathway to healing.

My name is Audra Bell and I am a Psychotherapist certified as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I work with clients throughout Missouri via telehealth.
