As a certified PCIT & Perinatal Therapist, the majority of my work is with women in the reproductive years, and parents in the early years of parenthood. I enjoy working with women and their partners through all stages of reproduction; trying to conceive through postpartum. I also have a passion for working with parents and their young children who are struggling with disruptive behaviors and are looking to improve parent-child relationships.

Try as we might, sometimes happiness and contentment always seem just out of reach. Depression, anxiety and stress can make getting out of bed in the morning a daunting task. Troubles in your relationship or conflict in the family can make you feel helpless or overwhelmed. Creating a daily routine using strategies that ground you and support moving forward in areas where you feel stuck. Improving your outlook on life to see past the stressful events that feel overwhelming. Talking through challenges and learning different ways to look at something in order to make progress, even when feeling depressed and anxious.

On the outside you look like you are put together and can do it all, but inside you feel like a imposter and will never be good enough. You constantly come up with a list of all the things that you need to be better at, do better at. You fall last on your list because what happens if everyone else needs are not met? What happens if you are not perceived as having it together. You're exhausted, broken, and sooo OVER IT. That is where I would like to say to you, "you deserve to be loved and cared for too".

You are desperate to find the off-button for that critical voice inside your head. It tells you that you MUST get everything on that to-do list done... You SHOULD feel a certain way... You absolutely HAVE to get it all right. There's a constant reminder that rest is for everyone else but you. You're moving through life keeping a constant report card of your achievements because you can’t think of anything more terrifying than failure. You’re left feeling inadequate, drained, and completely defeated. If you’re wondering where to start, there’s no better place than here.

Do you often worry about how you will balance school, chores, friendships, and everything else? Maybe you tend to worry about the everyday things or feel anxious about being true to yourself. If so, you are not alone! In fact, research shows that 1 in 3 teenagers develop anxiety disorders. And let’s be honest, middle school and high school years don’t feel like a walk in the park. So much changes during these years, and on top of that there are academic pressures and social expectations, especially when it comes to social media. Between school, sports, chores, and friendships, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and unsure of yourself.

I am heartened by people's willingness to reach out and courageously rediscover hope. The journey of life can be challenging and overwhelming. There are times when we are left standing at crossroads feeling disconnected or unappreciated. You may be experiencing loneliness, shame or guilt. Or may have reached a point of sheer frustration. I walk along side my clients as they revitalize relationships, empower their authentic self, and realize inherent potential. I provide therapy for couples, families and individuals, and welcome those of any age, gender, race, religion, or sexual orientation.

Your alarm clock is going off, and that sense of dread sits in the pit of your stomach. You slept but you don’t feel rested. Brushing your teeth and getting dressed leaves you drained. The idea of “peopling” makes you want to curl in a ball. You have thoughts popping into your head that you aren’t “good enough,” are “an imposter,” or “a failure.” Everyday tasks can feel overwhelming, and you can be your own worst critic when struggling with life transitions, trauma, anxiety or depression. Asking for help can be daunting, as we are often taught to face those internal battles quietly and alone.

I believe that understanding your own story is one of the bravest, most courageous things you can do. Everyone has their own unique journey and story to tell but the way we deal with certain roadblocks is not always as straightforward. Taking that story and turning it into your strength is an even bigger feat. It is a testament to our growth and courage to actively work to understand our emotions and create positive change. I am eager to hear your story and learn about your strengths, and the troubles that keep you up at night. You can count on me to have real conversations that guide you through these hardships.

Everyone we encounter in our lives plays a part in our story. Each experience leads to decisions that develop who we are. Sometimes we come to an encounter or experience that we aren't sure how to interpret, or work through. When we experience mental health symptoms or life stress that impairs our functioning, it is important to seek, learn, and utilize skills to get back to functioning that helps us achieve our goals.
