Life is unpredictable, it's messy. Life is about learning and growing, and with the right skills we can learn to tackle those big obstacles that are thrown our way. It's important for to have someone to lean on, talk to, walk alongside us as we grow through personal struggles, and that is how I view the therapeutic relationship. Primarily, I work with clients 17+ who struggle with trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, grief, personality disorders, and overall life stressors.

When life is overwhelming, it's easy to feel alone and isolated. You're being pulled in a hundred different directions and feel uncertain what to focus o first. I believe every person has the strength and resources to live a joyful life. Together, we can determine healthy strategies for you to better cope, grow and make positive changes.

To be a therapist is to be a co-laborer of change. I believe in getting in the trenches with my clients to work on the tough stuff. My greatest joy is watching clients leave my office having their awesome, life changing ah ha moments! Let's face it, sometimes in life we get stuck. Rightfully so, life is hard and sometimes we need help picking up the pieces with no judgment about our past. I believe that when we invite those stuck parts of us in to be learned and understood then, consistent progress is inevitable.

I work with individuals & couples struggling through issues such as infidelity, disconnection and other relationship problems. Along with that I work with men struggling with sexual addiction or emotional intimacy issues and I have a certification in sexual addiction treatment. I am also privileged to work with people recovering from childhood abuse and trauma by helping them process and heal from the violence they’ve experienced.

Life is hard. When we are faced with challenges, we can become discouraged, stuck, and even hopeless. Asking for help is also scary, and for some, a gamble. However, I believe if you take a leap of faith and reach out, you may find that one person who understands and wants to join you in finding solutions that could help "reset" your life. I hold two fundamental beliefs about all humans; firstly, I believe every individual is infinitely unique. Secondly, I think every person can grow and be better than they are today. I believe my job is to help you find the tools and resources you need to continue growing. My favorite aspect of therapy is that it can be tailored to individuals' authentic thoughts, feelings, experiences, needs, or desires.

I am passionate about working with couples struggling with intimacy and desire issues. My approach in working with couples centers on differentiation based therapies and encourages both individual and couple growth.

I work with survivors of sexual abuse and assault, betrayal trauma, and those affected by anaphylactic food allergies. People who've experienced these traumas often begin feeling a sense of losing control over their lives. I want you to know that you can heal from trauma and I can help you with that process. I will work with you to figure out how to mange anxiety, fear, sleep and relationship problems or any other symptoms you're experiencing. We can then work together to decide which approach to trauma processing is best for you.

I have a very direct yet gentle approach to getting to know who you are and how best to help you break through barriers and other debilitating problems you may be facing. Sometimes, these problems may be a result of lifelong issues; other times, it may be a result of a temporary change in your life such as divorce, loss, or a recent trauma. I work with you to discover new approaches and solutions for the task at hand. I am not traditional, sometimes mouthy, and a bit wacky at times, but I will walk with you through the process until you can walk alone. My heart does get involved at times because being human is all I know.
