My approach is humanistic and relational, offering a safe connection from which to regain grounding and explore emotions and patterns that bring distress to your life.
Overwhelming self-doubt can surface quickly and powerfully at any age, especially during big changes. A new school or job, personal loss or rejection, living on your own for the first time, can all impact your sense of safety, worthiness and connection. The urge to isolate, to not be a "burden" to others, is common, but being alone in your thoughts just makes it worse. I offer a private space to share your struggles, fears and current coping methods without being met with judgment or an agenda. We will work together to build your sense of self, agency and communication skills, and deeper trust in your ability to navigate change.

I work from a psychodynamic, trauma-informed, and relational perspective believing that it’s never too early or too late to fortify the soul.
Authentic relationships and dry humor are some of my favorite therapeutic tools. I approach therapy as a collaborative experience meeting people where they're at, non-judgmentally, forming genuine relationships that cultivate wholeness. We all experience transitions and life changes that challenge us. I help people understand these experiences so that they can live more authentic and effective lives.

My therapy practice is relational and integrative, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Existential Therapy, EMDR Therapy, and mindfulness practices.
You may feel like you are stuck or moving through life without purpose or meaning, like your brain is on autopilot, reacting to the world instead of responding mindfully or with meaning. My role as a therapist is to foster a calm, genuine, and compassionate environment that will allow you to tap into your inner healing system. The goal being to turn down the volume of incessant thoughts, soften the rough edges of the past, and overall feel empowered in approaching life with greater clarity, ease, flexibility, and confidence.

I practice somatic and relational therapy.
Many of my clients have learned that their experiences can be described as "trauma", and that trauma is often "stored in the body." These experiences can range from major life events, to buildup of chronic stress, to difficult relationships from the past. My clients often are curious how their early life, attachment with caregivers, or past relationships have affected them. Somatic and relational therapy can help to heal traumas of all kinds that are carried in our bodies and minds. My collaborative and flexible approach means that you have a voice in how we work on things together, and we go at a pace that works best for you.

I look forward to co-creating a space that fosters relational safety with accountability and invites compassionate curiosity that honors the depth & breadth of who you are (becoming).
I am a second generation Korean-American born and raised on the unceded ancestral lands of the Dxʷdəwʔabš (Duwamish Tribe) and now live as a guest upon Mni Sóta Maḳoce, Dakota homeland. My relational approach is built upon 15+ years working with and alongside individuals, families and communities to nurture growth as an educator, coach, trainer and leader. Becoming a parent in 2014 both broke and broke me open, ushering personal and intergenerational healing and cultural reclamation that continues today. A lifelong learner, I continue to journey along a path towards “Becoming a Good Ancestor” (credit: Layla Saad).
