Starting from age 6, I specialize in working collaboratively with families to navigate life's challenges, whether they're routine adjustments or unexpected transitions. Together, we'll tackle conflicts, strengthen bonds, and help you find your path to resilience. My expertise spans a wide range of backgrounds, addressing issues like trauma, mood and behavioral concerns, relational difficulties, and providing valuable parenting support.

Serenity Circle Counseling provides counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families to address issues such as anger, anxiety, chemical dependency, depression, empowerment, grief and loss, personal victimization, self-discovery, and trauma. We also offer psychological assessments and chemical dependency assessments.

I work with children (ages 5-10 years old), their families, and adults in building trusting relationships that promote healthy emotional regulation, safe boundaries, positive relationships, increased self-compassion, and resiliency. My goal is to ensure all my clients feel heard and that we work together to build a collaborative relationship that promotes strength and healing.

Helping others help themselves has been the focus of my life’s work. I have over 25 years working with a diverse population of children/teens, adults, and families. My goal is to help individuals understand who they are, how their past, along with the patterns they have created, impact their present, and then to take that knowledge and figure out how to navigate to where they want to be. The therapy process includes empowering my clients in realizing their inner wisdom, and discovering their innate potential to lead a satisfying, fulfilling life. Whether it feels this way right now or not, you are the expert in your life!

Many people receive messages their entire lives about not being good enough. I'm here to be a supportive, thoughtful and empathetic response to this. I am passionate about intersectional feminism, disability rights, queer rights, trans rights, fat liberation, and health at every size (HAES). I especially enjoy working with folks who experience challenges related to neurodivergence, trans and queer identities.

I am currently maintaining a waitlist. Someone who would best fit my practice is motivated to create change in their life, even if they aren't sure how to do that yet. Someone who is seeking help with improving their mental health, working toward a personal or professional goal, coping with stressors of daily life, and/or wanting a space to be seen and heard would do well in my practice. I have experience working with a variety of goals including mental health, addiction, trauma, life transitions, chronic health conditions, as well as clients looking to explore spirituality, LGBTQ identities, gender and sexuality.

I approach therapy as a team effort. I want to walk beside you to help you process challenging situations. I use humor, a laid-back perspective, and honesty, knowing that we all have areas of struggle and we are in this together. I love working with teenagers, young adults, couples, women, and children over the age of 12.
