I work with both adults and adolescents in an individual capacity who are having difficulty understanding their emotional experience. I focus on providing insight into an individual's emotional experience by guiding them through understanding how their thoughts can influence emotions and lead to certain behaviors.

I specialize in working with adults and adolescents (12+) who are experiencing life adjustments, changes in mood, relationship conflicts, poor school or work performance, and exploring personal development. I am also a board approved supervisor with the BBHT and am licensed to supervise LPC/LPCC's.

My goal as a therapist is to guide my clients in the exploration of their lives, within a safe and nurturing environment without judgement, to help them create the positive changes they desire. I have experience working with clients of all ages and specialize in working with adolescents and adults. I often work with clients on navigating life changes and challenges, depression, anxiety, emotion regulation, and trauma. I especially enjoy working with those transitioning from adolescence into adulthood. I have a passion for helping clients to identify and change deeply rooted patterns that are creating challenges within their lives.

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC). I specialize in providing mental health and substance use related therapy. I work with adults in the areas of anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma and substance use. I come from a strength-based, solution focused and person centered approach with clients' goals in mind. I work from psycho-dynamic, DBT, CBT, and 12 step facilitation theoretical frameworks. My interests include mindfulness based stress reduction, meditation, physical and mental health concerns.

Maura Freshour, LICSW, is the therapist behind Fresh Outlook Therapy for Children and Parents. She is passionate about working with children ages 3+ and parents at any stage of their parenting journey: family planning, experiencing infertility, miscarriage, postpartum mood and anxiety disorders, adoption, step-parenting, and parents experiencing family change. Maura works closely with outside providers, schools, and supports to address all challenges and concerns. Maura utilizes attachment and connection-based approaches to heal and create lasting change.
