I'm Mark Glover. As someone who has benefited from the services that I now provide, I know that Relationship Counseling is hard work that involves courage as well as commitment. I have also observed how it can be a powerful impetus for hope and a tool to precipitate change, even in the middle of very challenging circumstances. In the context of working with couples, my goal is to help partners to connect more deeply to themselves and to each other through communication and caring.

I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing individual therapy for adults as well as couples and families. My areas of focus are with past traumas, abuse, addictions, eating disorders, body image concerns, self-harming behaviors, abandonment, Bipolar Disorder, obsessive compulsive disorders, anxiety, and loss. My other areas of concentration are marriage counseling, the challenges of parenting, sibling conflicts, infidelity, and conflict resolution skills. I offer pre-marital counseling focusing on the transition into marriage, establishing effective communication skills, hearing/understanding partner perspective, assumptions made about partner's thoughts/experiences, and how the couple can approach challenges life may bring to their relationships.

Shawn is a therapist and coach who works with adults and children of all ages. Shawn has a particular interest in how we as people thrive, heal, and rise. Prior to becoming a therapist, Shawn spent twenty five years as a leader in supply chain, where he developed a deep respect for all people and the way in which we are all interconnected. He utilizes a client centered, humanistic approach, focusing on aspects of mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Seeking out help can be a difficult decision. You want a therapist you feel comfortable with and can trust with your story. My approach to therapy is compassionate, empathetic, kind, and collaborative. My goal is for clients to feel safe, supported, heard, and understood. I work alongside you as you develop insight into your experiences. This insight can lead to feeling empowered to implement changes in your life. I believe that the therapeutic process of change includes the following: an understanding of feelings and behaviors, developing healthy coping skills, feeling connected to others, and maintaining balance and moderation in life.

I work with most clients, however, my focus is on relationships. I believe everything we do and person we engage with is a relationship, whether it's an intimate partner, friend, sibling, family or your relationship to self. I want to work with you if you are willing to engage the therapy process. Therapy is challenging and happens mostly outside of the one hour session a week (at most). I will meet you where you are at if you commit to do the hard work on your end.

Healing & Restorations Consulting (HRC) began our private practice in 2015 after working 15+ years with individuals and families impacted by trauma, co-occurring mental illnesses, and involved in multiple systems. I work with individual adult clients across a wide range of issues. I believe everyone has within them all that they need to grow and succeed. Sometimes a new perspective is needed to access that strength. I work collaboratively with clients and have a particular focus in working with PTSD. I am trained in CBT, hypnosis and EMDR and can admininster psychological testing if needed.

I’m passionate about relationships, parenting, attachment, and how our childhoods shape the way we interact with the world around us. I believe our physical bodies hold the key to much of our mental and spiritual experiences, and learning to hold valuable space for all the parts of us—even the scary ones—is the work I hold dearest. I focus on building a safe and respectful connection with my clients. In our work together I will pull from a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach that often utilizes CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) techniques.

Getting to know Ben Twogood Individuals, couples, families, and adolescents work with Ben to change the narrative of their lives to become the people that they want to be. As a therapist, Ben treats clients from a strengths-based perspective, and he tailors his therapeutic approach to each individual patient utilizing psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, narrative and mindfulness-based techniques based in a family systems framework. Ben uses his 20+ years working with human services organizations to support and help clients navigate community services and systems.

I believe in having a non-anxious and non-judgmental presence and honoring all parts of the self: emotional, mental, physical and spiritual. In my work with clients, having unconditional positive regard and prioritizing the client-therapist relationship have been paramount to change. Although couples and romantic relationships are my passion, I also enjoy working with individuals and families.
