With over 14 years of experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), I have dedicated my practice to helping individuals overcome anxiety, depression, eating disorders, co-dependency, developmental trauma, and women's issues. I often collaborate with other experienced practitioners to provide a well rounded, holistic and concise approach.

I utilize a solution-focused approach and aim to empower, while integrating the body, mind, and spirit. Through bringing compassion and listening to your story, I work with you to find the root causes of your challenges, identify beliefs, and help you transform them into positive ways of thinking so you have a more joy-filled and fulfilling life. I work with children, teens, adults, and couples utilizing a variety of holistic techniques to address issues such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, parenting issues, codependency, and marital issues.

I have experience working with a culturally diverse population of individuals. My clients range from age 6 to age 65. Most of my experience is working with children, teens, young adults, adults, and families. I believe the greatest success is to accompany the client on their journey and to be the guide to navigate through the challenges of life. I regard the client to be the expert in their lives and it is important for them to discuss their goals and their expectations. My clients who experience the greatest success are motivated and ready to work, open-minded, flexible, introspective, honest, and trusting.

Christina enjoys working with individuals, couples and families helping support them in making changes they want to make. She has her B.A. in Sociology and Diversity Studies from SCSU and her M.S. in MHC from Walden University. She is an LPCC, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the State of MN. Christina has worked 10 years in clinical counseling. She has 24 additional years working with children, and families with services that are person-centered, strength-based and therapeutic. She has worked in foster and long-term residential based programs, as well as crisis, substance abuse treatment, vocational and education areas.
