For over 20 years, my practice approach is fundamentally “Humanistic” and “reality-based," which brings us to a place of honesty, respect and compassionate care for ourselves and for each other. Most importantly, this lays the foundation for healthy, natural and lasting modification and change, whether personal, interpersonal or even intergenerational.
Within each client/patient/person is a great teacher for themselves. It is my privileged position in "keeping it real." Therapeutic Rhythms
Therapeutic Rhythms is a 90-minute social skills program for teens that uses hand drums and percussion to teach communication skills, to find out about ourselves, and to demonstrate the beauty and magic of (rhythmic) cooperation and supported soloing. Individuals with learning differences and social anxieties are especially welcome! "Mr. Mitch" combines his clinical skills and his over 30 years experience as a drummer/percussionist to come up with a social experience that is educational, therapeutic, and most importantly - fun.
