My passion is to provide kids and adults with the help they need to navigate through difficult times whether it be related to family, school, mental health or substance use. As a licensed specialist clinical social worker, I have experience in a wide variety of support and counseling services, including assessment, crisis intervention, and individual, family and group therapy in both inpatient and outpatient treatment settings. I have conducted anger management and substance abuse evaluations, and I have facilitated group treatment programs.

Dr. Mount earned her Ph.D. in Counseling & Family Therapy from St. Louis University. Dr. Mount has been in private practice since 1996, and has specialized in the treatment of children and families. Additionally, Dr. Mount also provides individual and couples/marital therapy. Dr. Mount enjoys working with individuals and couples who are ready to create lasting change in their lives. She provides a caring non-judgmental environment for those ready to take their first steps towards lasting change.

Hello! My name is Liza, and I provide trauma sensitive therapy for anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, and chronic health/pain issues. I am certified in MBSR (mindfulness based stress reduction) from UMASS Medical School and also have received a post-graduate trauma therapy certification from Bessel van der Kolk at the Trauma Center in Boston. I am a 500 hour RYT (registered yoga teacher) with a practice focus on combining cognitive-based therapies with body-based, meditative practices in order to guide clients on how to better cope with life's challenges and feel safe, secure.... "at home" in their bodies.
