It can be difficult to begin the process of therapy. I am honored to support couples, families and individuals who want to begin to do that work. I offer a relational space that focuses on feeling safe and understood. My approach is from a family systems lens with somatic influences. My specialty is relationship repair through emotional exploration. My ideal client includes family and couple relationships, sexual intimacy, non-traditional families, addiction, high conflict, the family court system, play therapy, and more.
Within a family systems approach, attachment is at the center of connection. We are each wired for connection and understanding this part of us adjusts how we see ourselves as individuals. I have additional training in Emotionally Focused Therapy and the Gottman method to help explore how family systems impact what we are seeking from our relationships.
I seek to develop a natural relationship with my clients. Clients report my approach helps to reduce experiences of conflict, grief, and sadness while increasing satisfaction in relationships. They learn new ways to talk about their needs and hear others in a new way. In addition to 50-53-minute weekly sessions, I offer monthly intensives.
