Do you struggle with anxiety, acting on impulse, low mood, food rules, emotional eating, or body image? Are intimate relationships, family life, or friendships challenging to maintain? Is it difficult to communicate with your partner and feel genuinely seen and heard? Therapy is a space in which you can deepen your understanding of emotions and work with them rather than against them. You’ll have an opportunity to tune into your inner world so you can respond rather than react in the situations that matter the most. What’s more, improving your emotional health often radiates outward and touches the ones you love.
I combine the art & science of therapy to help you develop mindful awareness, process emotions, shift behavior, and integrate past & present. My style is curious and calm, like a creative consultant. I use evidence-based treatments along with somatic & experiential work, and especially enjoy engaging in EFT with couples to improve intimacy in relationships.
I take a radically validating stance as a therapist — I believe that every challenge is an opportunity for you to learn more about your emotional health. We will work together as partners in treatment to help you find steadiness and balance when experiencing life's myriad ups and downs. Please feel free to visit my website to schedule an appointment with me!
