As an immigrant, Third Culture Kid (TCK), and former international student, I recognise that each person's identity and experiences are nuanced and multilayered. My past careers as a journalist and teacher have shown me that while our narratives are unique and powerful, we all share a universal desire for self-understanding, insight into the human experience, meaningful connections. In our increasingly demanding and isolating world, where jobs are stressful and family and friends are often scattered, these needs become even more profound.
I have helped individuals and couples through life transitions, interpersonal conflicts, stress, anxiety, loneliness, grief, and loss. My style is relational, strength-focused, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed, influenced by psychodynamic theories, existential psychotherapy, Gestaltism, Internal Family Systems, and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy.
Together, we will create an intentional space to explore your current challenges, as well as your feelings, thoughts, inner child sometimes buried deep waiting to be acknowledged and embraced. You don’t have to be in crisis to seek therapy; it can simply be a safe place for you to unload, experiment, and grow. I’d be privileged to walk this journey with you.
