Ellie’s therapists goal is to help people have access to a coach, teacher, therapist, confidant, counselor, and most of all person to share anything from your daily blunders to deepest secrets! If it's happening in your life, we provide judgement free counseling to help handle it head on, as a team! There is a positive vibe, an intuitive conscious and we place a special focus on engaging the whole family. We like to have fun, share new skills for stress management, and solve problems, while making sure individuals and families feel supported and safe while making change!

I provide integral treatment to support you. We collaborate on methods to work towards goals, wellness and thriving in a healthy lifestyle. In EMDR therapy you will be guided through an 8 phase treatment with BLS (i.e. eye movement or tappers). After determining which memories to target, you hold different aspects of that event, internal associations arise and you can process the memory & disturbing feelings. The meaning of the painful event is transformed on an emotional level. In marriage therapy (EFCT), our goals are to understand love systemically, emotions & attachment needs, control negative patterns & shape positive bonds.

I believe in providing a caring, supportive, and client-centered environment. I want to offer effective therapeutic interventions to help adults, families, and children manage their mental health symptoms, so they can live a more happy and healthier lifestyle, plus finding their inner peace of "Serenity" in their life. I work with children as young as 4 years old, adolescents, adults, and families. I provide individual, family, and group therapies. I have also worked with a number of diverse individuals and families with a wide range of mental health disorders.

Where do you you heal? Is it always talk? I have worked with children/families/ individuals most of my career and have had to think of different ways to process feelings. For young children it's play, for older children doing art or games. For adults it may be changing one’s perspective. Brain science confirms that these methods are effective for emotional regulation. The most successful factor in therapy is the therapeutic relationship. I honor that. I partner with you on this journey. Some clients bring two session issues,others bring trauma that may need neuropsychological approaches.

For over 15 years, I have had the privilege of counseling people of all ages and backgrounds that have struggled with anxiety, depression, marital conflict, family issues and academic concerns. Over the past five years, I have also started working with clients that have alcohol and drug related problems. Everyone is so unique. Therefore, my therapeutic approach is a nonjudgmental positive regard and it is tailored to fit the individual, couple and/or family. It has been very rewarding to watch so many clients make better choices and live a more full, enriched life. Every day is a new beginning!

I see clients of all ages, including individuals and families. I have training in various modalities of therapy such a play therapy, art therapy, sand tray therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, Adaptive Internal Relational (AIR) Network, and trauma systems therapy.

My goal is to guide my clients who are looking to make positive changes in their lives, need empathy, and guidance, to aid them get to a safe and secure place.

My goal is to provide a safe and judgment-free environment for you to process what's going on in your life. Making a connection with a counselor you trust is so important. The most important factor in counseling is the therapeutic relationship. I consider myself to be flexible and easy going. I typically think outside of the box and don't get hung up on any one modality.

I have immediate openings to serve individuals ages 8 through adulthood. I do have special interest in serving those ages 12 to 30. I am passionate about serving individuals from a multi-cultural perspective including the LGBTQ+ population. I am driven to help individuals feel better and function better in their life whether it be anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, grief/bereavement, work-related stress, family stress, relationship conflict, or other emotional/behavioral concerns. I will meet you where you are and can be flexible in my approach as I know we are all unique individuals.
