I am a mental healthcare social worker , Licensed Independently in the State of Ohio. I have nearly 30 years experience as social worker and the last 8 years as a therapist. I have worked with a range of clients and ages, but primarily have spent the bulk of my career working with older adults. I have experience in working long-term care, end of life (hospice) and mental health on an individual and group level. I have facilitated anxiety groups and work with clients experiencing, anxiety, depression, grief, loss, life changes and transitions, social isolation and loneliness, dementia care.
I am familiar with caregiver stress, trauma, abuse and panic disorders. I am warm , easygoing and believe it's important to meet you, where you are on the road of life. I believe in respect, sensitivity and compassion. My approaches include: person-centered , solution-focused, mindfulness, CBT, DBT, relaxation and techniques.
