Immediate openings are available! I find that children do their best when they are allowed to move and play when discussing issues that may bother them. I create an environment where kids feel comfortable talking about their problems through movement. I like to work collaboratively with caregivers to help kids thrive at home and school. Sessions are outdoors to give them the space to move while talking. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness to help kids work through anxiety, depression, school refusal, and difficulties with transitions. He is a parent of 3 boys and enjoys coaching baseball in his free time.
I am currently a school adjustment counselor and practice part-time. I have worked in several school systems with children as young as 3 and as old as 22. I have also worked in a community hospital doing psychiatric evaluations for patients who present with significant psychiatric issues.
Session will be at a playground or park between Bedford and Tewksbury, MA. The first session will be virtual to do an initial assessment. Thereafter, sessions will be at an agreed upon park. I look forward to working with you!
