I am a bilingual National Certified Counselor and Licensed professional counselor, with over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I provide individual therapy to those struggling with: Anxiety, Depression, and other Mood Related Disorders, Domestic violence, Trauma, PTSD, Anger issues, Phobias, and Relationship Problems
I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and have extensive experience counseling individuals and families affected by Complex Trauma and PTSD. I am EMDR trained and I am also a Somatic Experiencing® practitioner in training. Somatic Experiencing® is a method to treat trauma focusing on the physiology of the body and understanding the nervous system.
I am also trained in DARe (Dynamic Attachment Re-patterning experience) where attachment theory and somatic approaches are used to repair attachment ruptures.
