Mildy has worked as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor for over 25 years. She arrived in Idaho in 1990 after living across the U.S. She received her Master's degree from ISU at a later age after teaching high school Language-Arts in Florida and marketing float plane and helicopter rides in Alaska. Her experience includes ten years of worldwide counseling with all branches of military, inpatient residential leadership and outpatient private adults, couples, and groups. Her experience includes mood disorders, relationships and career counseling. She is a world traveler, former multi-marathon runner and compassionate listener.
She is a solution-focused counselor - caring, compassionate and direct. As a "seasoned" professional, Mildy is confident in her non-judgmental approach to whatever ails you. She also harbors a large network of resources should you decide to seek other counsel.
Mildy understands the importance of the client/counselor relationship. During your initial assessment, you'll know if you're comfortable with the therapeutic connection. This connection is a valued foundation of the therapeutic process. Together, you'll set goals for your individualized treatment and be on your way to a happier, emotionally healthier life.
