Welcome to my psychotherapy practice, where taking that initial step toward seeking support is a courageous and vulnerable act. In my practice, I strive to create a space infused with safety, empowerment, warmth, humor, cultural humility, understanding, compassion, and ease—a space where you can begin to explore a path forward from the challenges that have led you here. My therapeutic approach integrates various styles, including psychodynamic, trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based practices.
With over 15 years of experience as a psychotherapist, I specialize in working with adolescents and adults grappling with a variety of issues stemming from complex environmental factors, early childhood experiences, life transitions, infertility, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, disordered eating, perfectionism, OCD, and ADHD.
Lastly, I specialize in evidence-based behavioral strategies to assist parents facing the unique challenges of raising children with OCD, anxiety, ADHD, and/or oppositional behaviors. I collaborate with families to implement behavioral interventions aimed at nurturing healthy relationships and fostering loving communication between parents and children.
