I have been trained as a clinical social worker, addictions counselor, and Certified Sex Addiction Therapist. I utilize experiential therapies and EMDR to help people reclaim their lives. In my practice I focus on helping adults struggling with developmental trauma and PTSD, sex and pornography addiction, recovery from narcissistic abuse & traumatic bonding, and drug/alcohol addiction. Parents of addicted adults and folks with internet/gaming/screen addictions are also specialty areas.
I specialize in helping people understand the linkage between their past experiences and current behavior, establishing new patterns in relating to themselves, and regulating their emotions more effectively. I believe that no model of treating addictions is complete without addressing its roots in trauma and attachment injuries.

Interpersonal Group Therapy
This is a an ongoing group for adults that focuses on improving patterns in relationships. This group is ideal for adults who have previous therapy experience and are ready to work on new ways of relating to themselves and others in an interactive and dynamic therapy group. The group focuses on issues related to trauma, dysfunctional/alcoholic family systems, enmeshment, codependency, addiction, and traumatic bonding. This group meets weekly and is held online.
