I have worked doing outpatient therapy, in the schools as a School Social Worker, and in a partial hospitalization program as well. All of these experiences have given me insight into the many modalities of treatment. Additionally, I am passionate about being the bridge between clients and their communities to provide the best care possible.

Nobody should struggle alone. I am a clinical psychologist providing therapy to children, teens, young adults, and families. While adopting a non-judgmental and empowering stance, I provide concrete tools to help clients improve their relationships, learn about themselves, explore their identity, and develop coping skills to better manage difficult situations. While helping clients to grow and change, I also support their development of self-compassion and self-acceptance. I am a social work intern currently finishing up my masters of social work degree at Boston University. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology from Wayne State University. Dr. Thomson is a Licensed Psychologist who received her PhD in School Psychology from Michigan State University. She has worked in school, hospital, and clinic-based settings, and is highly trained in evidence-based treatments for diverse childhood behavioral health concerns. She enjoys working collaboratively with children/teens, families, schools, and others to improve youths' functioning.
