My training and education include a Masters Degree in Clinical Health Psychology from the University of Michigan. This approach to evaluation includes the biological, psychological, and social contributions to our lives that make each of us the person we are today.

For more than 20 years I have worked with families in a variety of settings through a variety of issues. It is my desire to help you, your child, and/or your family work through any issue in order to experience a fulfilling life. I work with individuals struggling with anxiety/depression, relational issues, divorce related issues, self-esteem, and personal identity issues.

Samantha received her Master’s degree in Social Work from Wayne State University and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Oakland University. Samantha has extensive experience working with children and adolescence, specifically those who have special needs, mental illness, and at-risk behavior. Samantha specializes in anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, self-esteem, school difficulties, FASD, divorce, social anxiety, and communication skills. Samantha also has experience working with parents of children with these difficulties, couples, and individual adults that struggle with the same issues.

I love to work with children/adolescents and young adults that may be struggling with various issues ranging from anxiety/depression, to dealing with childhood trauma. They may be seeking a way to live a more fulfilled life, gain new coping skills, seek out mindfulness techniques, or create a more healthy and sustainable family structure. My goal is to provide treatment to individuals and family systems who are looking to live a more fulfilled, and less stressed life.

I have over 30 years experience working in the schools, hospitals and outpatient settings providing therapeutic services to youth, adults and families. I specialize in youths and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, academic challenges, peer relationship difficulties, children of divorce, and parent-child conflicts. I am an Advanced Certified Trauma and Resilience Practitioner (ACTRP)I also am an EMDR therapist. For clients that are interested, I have a trained therapy dog available for sessions.

Rackham Institute's (MARI) University Center for the Child and Family (UCCF) offers compassionate, evidence-based, confidential, and culturally humble mental health treatment and testing for children, adolescents, teens, and their families. We serve U-M affiliated families and the local and broader Michigan community. UCCF has a multi-disciplinary staff of psychologists, social workers, a psychiatrist, BCBAs, a speech-language pathologist, and advanced level clinicians-in-training. We are deeply invested in the overall growth and well-being of our diverse clientele. Common presenting concerns include, but are not limited to: anxiety, depression, ADHD, ASD, parenting management, relationship challenges, grief/loss, testing/evaluation, and behavioral concerns. Our facility was designed with families in mind; our waiting room includes a play room for children, diaper changing stations in all of our restrooms, and child care may be available during appointments depending on U-M student staffing availability.

I am a clinical psychologist in private practice for more than 15 years in the St.Clair Shores area. Over that time I have enjoyed working with many families and individuals to find solutions to their problems. I hold a degree in Clinical Psychology from Wayne State University in 1994. I later completed an internship at Henry Ford Hospital with a specialization in working with children and adolescents.

Nobody should struggle alone. I am a clinical psychologist providing therapy to children, teens, young adults, and families. While adopting a non-judgmental and empowering stance, I provide concrete tools to help clients improve their relationships, learn about themselves, explore their identity, and develop coping skills to better manage difficult situations. I am a limited license psychologist In Grand Rapids Michigan. I have my own practice where I specialize in working with adults and children. I have a CBT focused, Mindfulness approach to helping people with Anxiety, ADHD, Autism, and other cognitive challenges.

I will support the growth of teens and adults who struggle with self confidence, decision making, relationships, and planning for the future. Exploration will begin with examining home life, social skills, and aspects of career or school. If one is struggling with any of these elements, it is likely having a negative impact on other areas. In addition, I can improve a student-athlete's performance in competition. By taking the same approach, an athlete can maximize their potential by identifying and improving other areas of their life away from the game.

I am a neurodiversity affirming licensed clinical therapist offering counseling services to children, adolescents, and young adults. My specialty areas include helping clients who experience anxiety, depression, school issues, behavioral challenges, phobias, communication, and adjustment difficulties. Complementing my focus on clients with mental health challenges, as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, I am educated and trained to work with individuals with physical, developmental, emotional, and intellectual disabilities.

As an experienced therapist offering EMDR, I have worked in the mental health field since 2006 and specialize in trauma, PTSD, car accidents, violent attacks, couples/family counseling, grief/loss, panic/anxiety disorders, and depression. I love working with children as well as adults and families. I strongly believe and practice treating each person as a whole, unique, and talented individual. I have earned two masters degrees in Social Worker and Public Administration, both received from Arizona State University.

He is a fully licensed clinical social worker and earned a MSW degree from Michigan State University. John’s experience covers a range of settings including schools, mental health clinics, foster care and residential youth treatment facilities. John enjoys working with clients with an array of issues including school problems, anger management, ADHD, emotional dysregulation, oppositional defiant disorder, and anxiety.
