You may be considering psychotherapy for the first time or searching for a better "fit". The quality of the relationship is as significant to healing as the approach or expertise. Whether your goal is to solve specific problems or discover deeper self-knowledge, I draw on many years of experience to guide this process. My down-to-earth, non-judgmental approach is conducive to building the trust and confidence essential to the therapeutic relationship.
My treatment methods include not only traditional psychotherapy but also mindfulness and a holistic integration of systems. My clinical practice has been enhanced by my study of Sociology, for which I earned a PhD from Boston University in 2007. I am better able to help you understand the context within which your issues have developed and will be resolved.
Other areas of interest include: the Sociology of the Internet, Personal Privacy and Confidentiality, the Neuroscience of Psychotherapy and the Neuroplasticity of the brain, and holistic health.
