I provide individual psychotherapy to adults struggling with anxiety, depression, transitions, identity, loss, self-esteem, and relationships. I believe understanding, instead of hiding from fear and shame, provides self-acceptance and consequently relief. The ultimate goal is for you to feel empowered and free to create the life you want. My work is anti-racist, sex-positive, body-positive, poly/CNM affirming, gender affirming, feminist, and culturally responsive.
I take a compassionate, curious stance in my approach to treatment with adults. I work within an exploratory psychodynamic frame but will tailor therapy to you with DBT skills. I consider becoming familiar with and learning to tolerate complex emotions crucial to achieving wholeness.
Together, my clients and I strive to cultivate a space of curiosity, non-judgment, compassion, respect, flexibility, and humility. Reach out for an initial brief phone call and we can start the process of your healing.
