I am a licensed psychotherapist with over 6 years of experience helping individuals with a wide range of emotional issues, relationship difficulties, depression and anxiety. I work to create a warm, caring, non-judgmental environment where you can feel safe enough to look at and understand the actions and thoughts that are interfering with your own happiness. Clients come to me looking for a therapist who is authentic and relatable, because therapy should be a place where you feel comfortable and understood. Sessions with me provide the comfort of conversation with an old friend & the results of working with a trained professional.
My clinical approach is eclectic, but grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Somatic therapy, as well as EMDR. I am very passionate about teaching my clients techniques for resolving nervous system dysregulation and releasing trauma from the body/brain. (In Person Sessions Available)
I am honored to work alongside people on their journey towards healing. Regardless of where you are at, one of my strengths is in meeting you right there, which can include: coping strategies for anxiety, depression or painful emotions; developing greater self-compassion, moving through the world with confidence; feeling "I am good enough just as I am".
