I am passionate about helping people attain wholeness and healing through counseling, psycho-education and the therapeutic relationship. I like to treat people using a holistic approach, helping clients heal and build a capacity for hope, greater self-awareness, and resilience. I enjoy helping clients connect with self and others in a healthier way, strengthen both intrapersonal and interpersonal skills, grow in authenticity and live a fuller life.
I have over 15 years experience working with youth and women in counseling, educational, and conference settings, both here in the States and overseas. I provide individual, couples and group counseling. Some areas of specialty include: anxiety, depression, addictions, eating disorders, healing from past trauma, DBT, CBT, women's issues, healing prayer and couples counseling.
I am certified in Anger Management and in Prepare and Enrich for pre-married couples. I have also received extensive training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy. I earned my B.S. in Pre-Med Biology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and my M.A. in Mental Health Counseling at Trinity International University.
