I have been a therapist for 14 years and worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings with children, adolescents, and adults. In the past several years, I have focused on working with adults who suffer from anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, poor self-esteem, life transitions, abuse, generational trauma, infertility, and parenting. Together we gain insight into their lives by identifying changes they would like to make, how the past impacts the present, and work towards healing and happiness. I work with all races and religions and am aware of my privilege, which is open for discussion as to how it will impact our therapy.
I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Brainspotting as appropriate to each person I work with. I believe that each person is unique and deserves an approach that works best for them to provide healing, understanding, higher functioning and happiness.
