As a Level 1 trained Gottman Marital Therapist, I help couples strengthen their relationships. Couples learn to replace negative conflict patterns with positive interactions and to repair past hurts. Interventions are designed to increase closeness and intimacy, improve friendship, and deepen their emotional connection. Using primarily a cognitive-behavioral approach, I provide both short and longer term therapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families with a broad range of presenting problems.
Using Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), a proven parent-child treatment program for parents who have children with behavioral problems (e.g., aggression, non-compliance, defiance, and temper tantrums).
I am a warm, empathetic, and compassionate listener, cradled with a sense of deep optimism and genuine curiosity derived from my own life experiences. My style is collaborative, directive, constructive, compassionate, and warm. I have a deep respect for the human condition and am comfortable with the pain that sometimes results from life.
