Watching your child struggle behaviorally, emotionally, or academically, can be a very scary thing for a parent. You may feel lost and insecure, or you may feel like you have tried everything and nothing seems to work. Additionally, you may have struggled as a kid yourself but have never been able to pinpoint why. I believe through evaluation, one can better understand who they are, how to build on existing strengths, and how to target areas for growth.
My approach is to work collaboratively with you and/or your child to better understand diagnoses, set meaningful and attainable goals, and lay a foundation for success across various settings. Specific areas of interest for me include autism spectrum disorder, educational disorders, ADHD, anxiety, and behavioral challenges.
Helping my clients to better understand who they are, establishing meaningful goals and actionable steps toward growth, and then helping clients as they navigate these changes in their lives is my ultimate goal.
