I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor-Intern, and a Texas certified school counselor. I love working with teenagers/adolescents as I work as a crisis counselor in a North Texas school district. I also enjoy working with adults and specialize in trauma, depression/anxiety, grief and parenting challenges.
I am passionate about helping individuals move from stuck to unstuck and helping them find hope, healing and freedom through intrinsically motivated questions and reflection. I value the therapeutic relationship and building positive regard with clients and coupling that with skills and techniques to help my clients in their daily functioning.
I love working with teenagers and adolescent young people to help them learn to live life to the fullest. I have also worked with many individuals suffering with grief and loss as well as working with those suffering from various traumatic events. My training in EMDR has been a phenomenal resource to help clients suffering with trauma.
