Welcome to the practice! I treat individuals who are committed to taking charge of their health. With formal training in neuropsychology, psychopharmacology, mindfulness, and trauma, I focus on treating the root causes of your disorder, not just the symptoms. The treatment I provide typically takes longer than eight sessions, but when you're ready to step off the emotional rollercoaster once and for all, I will help you develop insights and create strategies and habits to empower you to reach your optimal well-being. In our work together, I will support you, guide you, and offer tools to encourage your personal growth and healing.
I don't believe that one type of treatment fits all. Instead, I offer individualized treatment that explores and addresses all biopsychosocial contributors to your distress. Strategies I utilize include cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, meditation, exercise, diet and lifestyle changes, yoga, tai chi, qigong, and bibliotherapy, to name a few.
I believe in your capacity to heal from any illness, trauma, or loss. I will never view you as hopeless or broken, and I will support you in every way I can. The process is not always easy.
